Who we are

Pulse (“Pulse”, “we”, “us”) is a personalised supplement subscription service based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Questions? Email hello@pulsedaily.io.

What we collect

  • Account details — your email address and (if provided) phone number.
  • Health & lifestyle profile — age, biological sex, activity level, typical sleep, stress level, diet, goals, and any health notes you share (which may include medications or conditions).
  • Wearable data — screenshots you upload from your wearable app and the metrics we read from them (e.g. recovery, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, training load). If you connect a wearable, the data it shares with us.
  • Order & delivery details — name and shipping address, collected during checkout.
  • Payment details — handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Messages — your conversations with Pulse (chat and any SMS).

Health data

Some of the information you give us is health-related, which is a special category of personal data under UK GDPR. We process it only with your explicit consent, given when you submit your profile, and solely to build and adjust your personalised formula. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (see “Your rights”).

How we use your data

  • To generate and refine your personalised supplement formula.
  • To process, review, fulfil, and ship your orders.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your messages.
  • To manage your subscription and billing.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers we use to run Pulse:
  • Anthropic — to analyse your data and generate recommendations (AI processing).
  • Stripe — to process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Resend — to send you transactional emails (sign-in links, order updates).
  • Vercel & Neon — hosting and database.
  • Shipping & fulfilment partners — to deliver your order.
  • Your wearable provider — if you choose to connect one.
We may also disclose data where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then for any period required to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@pulsedaily.io. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the site. We don’t use advertising cookies on the app itself.

Security

We use reputable providers and industry-standard measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

Children

Pulse is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
